One Hundred U.S. Dollars for the Best Designed Membership Certificate

Well, it’s only taken one week to come up with the obvious: our members want certificates of membership and they are willing to put up a couple of bucks to get the system developed. In exchange for those who contribute toward development costs, a free ad will made for each individual on the main website to show our appreciation. Development proposals for the certificate generator are already in the works.

We are honored you wish to show your pride and applaud you all for doing so. While waiting for the development process, we thought we should take advantage of our member’s pride an artistic talents. Rather than us creating the certificate template for you, we thought it would be better first to have a contest and award a $100 cash prize to the best certificate template design by our members. The honorary contributors will vote for the best certificate and the proposed certificates submitted will be posted for view by all.  The winner also gets their name placed permanently on every certificate issued, such as “Certificate Design by Your Name, Your Town, State“.

The Contest Rules:

1. Certificate template design has to be created and submitted for review electronically before March 31, 2011. Voting takes place the first week in April.
2. Submit your entry
3. You have to be an active directory member to participate. So if you passed the test but did not register into the directory, you are excluded.
4. Certificate template has to be Landscape oriented.
5. Certificates will be auto-generated on the website with member’s name and membership date so those have to be prominent.
6. Certificate templates should be designed with minimal colors. Black, Grey and Blue are preferred colors but use your imagination.
7. AutoTechnician.org will become the rightful owner of the final chosen certificate and template and may modify it for our own purposes at any time.

AutoTechnician.org will vote on the final certificate the first week in April. If nobody participates at all, we will just create our own membership certificate for you.
