Mitsubishi Motors’ second-quarter, first-half profits surge
Mitsubishi Motors today said that its net income jumped 56 percent in the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 to 46.73 billion yen ($475.8 million), as revenue rose 8 percent to $9.46 billion.

Ford Fiesta gets 45 mpg EPA highway rating, highest of any non-hybrid
The EPA has certified the 2014 Ford Fiesta, equipped with Ford’s 1-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, at 45 mpg highway, the highest mpg for a non-hybrid gasoline or diesel car.
