Changan Automobile, a leading automaker in China, saw sales volume of its micro-cars decline nearly 25
percent for the first nine months of 2011 as the Chinese government withdrew three main preferential policies – on
purchase tax, scrappage schemes and subsidy policies for rural residents – at the end of last year.
