NHTSA launches review of Kia, Hyundai engine failures for noncollision fire risk

The review, confirmed in a letter to Sen. Bill Nelson, follows a petition from the Center for Auto Safety for federal safety regulators to investigate noncrash fire risks in Kia and Hyundai vehicles.
